30 YEARS BABY!!!!

The first photos taken in the new year.  And hopefully a more successful photo blog.

There was this one time when I came home from break to find Jimi on the counter.  I was quite surprised, since neither of my two siblings had been home in awhile, and my parents listen to music that I generally classify as not good.  Come to find out, my mother had bought it, reading in a magazine review that Jimi Hendrix was one of the best guitar players of all time.  I laughed because she made a face and said he was awful.  Not quite the guitar kind of playing she appreciated.

This tree never disappoints.  Every year, this tree looks like it just struck gold and turned it an almost god-like shade.  Did I mention I love fall?  At my house?  And I want to be there right now?  Because if I failed to mention it, I’ll tell you, my house is not exciting, but I can imagine no other home, especially home in the fall.  When mornings get cold enough to have a fire.  I think of home.  Really, all other locations, destinations, dreams, road trips are just a round about way of getting home.
